Overview

Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager
Location: Hybrid role with travel
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

 

As Commercial Finance Manager, you will act as a key business partner to operational leaders, providing financial insights and analysis to support commercial goals. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, helping to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with finance teams (including the Director of Commercial Finance and CFO) to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Focus on analysing performance and 'telling the story'
  • Analyse sales, margin, and operational KPIs to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes and analytics
  • Support pricing strategies, promotional analysis, and investment appraisals.
  • Collaborate with central finance and operational teams to ensure alignment

Qualifications

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills are a MUST
  • Experience in a commercial finance role, ideally within retail, automotive, or multi-site operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to understand scope and work independently
