Overview

IT User Access Team Leader

Lookers Head Office Manchester – Remote with occasional travel to a Lookers Dealership

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £35,000 - £37,500

Hours: (37.5) Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm or 9:30am–6:00pm

 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to step up into a leadership role or for an experienced Team Leader seeking a new challenge with an industry leader.

 

As a User Access Team Leader, you’ll oversee a team of 4 analysts responsible for managing all user access requirements for our internal staff, including Joiners, Movers, Leavers and additional access requests. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring all access processes are secure, efficient and meet both performance KPIs and strict security controls, while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of 4 User Access Analysts, ensuring high performance and excellent service delivery.
  • Oversee all user access activities to ensure compliance with company security and risk policies.
  • Monitor team performance against KPIs and SLAs, identifying trends and implementing improvements where required.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex access issues and work closely with stakeholders to resolve problems quickly.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by refining processes, improving efficiency, and enhancing the user experience.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a User Access, Service Desk, or IT support role, with previous exposure to team leadership or mentoring.
  • A strong understanding of security controls, risk management and compliance within user access processes.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage performance against KPIs and deliver results.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in a clear, user-friendly way.
  • A proactive approach and a keen eye for spotting opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.

Experience in user on/offboarding process’, Active Directory and Entra are desirable.
