Trade Specialist Expert – Glasgow Volvo
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Hours: 42 hours per week. 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am-12pm
Job Type: Full-Time | Salary: £30,000 basic per annum + Bonus & Benefits

With a focus on quality, customer experience, and sustainability, we are looking for a Trade Specialist Expert to lead and grow our trade sales operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong motor trade experience and a passion for building lasting B2B relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop the trade sales channel, including used vehicle sales to motor trade buyers
Build and maintain relationships with existing and new trade customers locally and nationally
Source, value, and appraise part-exchange and overage vehicles for trade disposal
Ensure accurate and profitable pricing based on market trends and stock profile
Negotiate trade deals and oversee the sales process from enquiry to handover
Liaise closely with the Used Car Sales Manager and wider sales team
Maintain clear records of trade transactions and ensure compliance with trading standards
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in motor trade sales, ideally in a trade-focused or remarketing role
Excellent knowledge of vehicle valuations and the wholesale market
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Target-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
Self-motivated, highly organised, and comfortable working independently
Good IT skills and familiarity with dealer systems
A full UK driving licence is essential
