Location: Stockport Kia

Salary: OTE £60,000 (including £35,000 basic plus bonus)

Hours of Work: (44 hours per week) Monday to Friday 08:45 to 18:30, Saturdays 08:45 to 17:00 and alternate Sundays 11:00 to 15:00 (One day off midweek, and weekends on rota basis)

Lookers Stockport Kia is searching for an experienced Business Manager to join our team. At Lookers our Business Managers are the driving force behind the success of our sales team. With support from the Sales Manager on site, this is your chance to really leverage this opportunity and achieve great things!

Our Business Managers play an essential role within the dealership from coaching and development through to assisting management in planning and forecasting trends. You will also act as a role model for customer service excellence for the team, always leading by example. You will develop long-lasting, meaningful relationships with our customers and coach and motivate the team to do so too.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying based on requirement and individual suitability, appropriate funding and insurance options for customers, whilst maintaining excellent levels of compliance and commitment to treating customers fairly.
  • Understand all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations to ensure accurate information is given when negotiating a vehicle sale
  • You will also monitor finance and insurance performance against expectation, whilst maintaining a compliant sales process
  • As You will work with management to coach and develop the skills of the team to achieve business objectives.
  • Assisting management in planning, forecasting trends, and revising plans for the dealership on an ongoing basis
  • Acquire a high level of product knowledge to competently answer all customer queries and logging all activity to monitor and measure outcomes and provide regular feedback to the Management teams

Qualifications

To succeed within this role, you will have previous management experience within the automotive industry or be a career driven Sales / Senior Sales Executive with a hunger to progress up the ladder! You will also be passionate about providing first class customer care and engagement.

Experience monitoring financial performance against budget, as well as the ability to identify and address shortfalls is desirable but not essential, as we're always looking out for talented individuals with a passion for learning and developing their skillset! It is important that you have a sound understanding of financial and insurance product regulations. You can demonstrate a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance, regarding the sale of finance and insurance products. You will also be a well-organised individual who is process orientated whilst also taking a hands-on approach. You will require a full UK driving licence for this position.
