Overview

Sudbury Ford

Hours: 42; Monday- Friday between 09:00-18:00 and Saturdays on rota 08:00-12:30

Salary: Up to £31,000 OTE, with basic of £25,000 per annum plus bonus

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Aftersales Advisor to join our service team based at our Sudbury Ford dealership.

Our Aftersales Advisors play a crucial role in delivering world class customer experiences within our Sudbury dealership, combining the responsibilities of a Parts Advisor and Service Advisor. You'll be expected to liaise with customers through telephone and digital communications to arrange services, mot and repairs. Additionally, you'll be a key member of our Parts team, ensuring that all customers at retail and workshop areas are dealt with quickly and efficiently and that all orders are processed on the same day.  You will be required to complete all administrative functions in an accurate and timely manner and log any discrepancies of stock

Responsibilities

  • Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for our customers
  • Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts / accessories that will benefit the customer
  • Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments, based on workload and call volumes
  • Managing a high-volume of customers daily as well as telephone calls and online booking queries
  • Informing customers of turnaround times and ensuring effective communication throughout the time when a customers’ car is in the workshop
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, and updating the systems when any bookings have been made
  • Assisting the Parts Manager with daily duties
  • Ensuring all items are correctly located and stock control 
  • Receiving orders & ensuring returns are up to date

As a Trainee Aftersales Advisor at our busy dealership you must have heaps of energy, a warm personality and a real passion for delivering a first class customer experience each and every time. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily whilst being able to explain technical information in a way that is clear and concise. Being a tech-savvy individual would a be a huge advantage, as you'll be learning how to use our automotive systems when booking in customers. You must have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 6 months for insurance purposes.

You will be a great team player but be able to also work independently using your own initiative.
