Overview

Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Newcastle Skoda & Kia Dealership
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: £23,100 – £26,250 per annum (depending on experience)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our friendly and experienced Accounts team at our multi-brand dealership in Newcastle supporting our Skoda and Kia franchises. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established team within a reputable motor trade group.

Responsibilities

  • Handling daily banking and processing incoming payments across all departments

  • Logging and processing supplier invoices via the purchase ledger

  • Preparing and submitting BACS transfer requests

  • Processing manufacturer warranty payments

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • A keen eye for accuracy and a passion for getting the details right

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

  • Confidence in working independently while also being a team player

  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal

  • A high level of discretion when handling sensitive financial information

  • Flexibility to support the wider team during busy periods or holiday cover
