Salary: £11.44 per hour

42.5 hours per week. Working hours are between 8.00 to 18.00 on Monday to Friday, with a 30 minutes lunch break. 

Lookers Stockport Volvo are super excited to be looking for a Handover Specialist ahead of the increased number of Polestar deliveries in 2025. You will join a one big family and will work towards achieving our goals together. As a Handover Specialist you will be a crucial part of the business, and a thriving Aftersales department. You will have the pleasure of working with other functions including Sales and Front of House.  
As a vehicle Handover Specialist you will be key to achieving our objective of exceeding the customers’ expectations and ensuring all of our customers have a smooth and rememberable experience after the point of sale. You will be communicating with the customers between the sale agreement and delivery of the car, scheduling handover appointments of the stunning Volvo vehicles. The handover being of the highest quality is essential as you will be providing the customer with a full introduction to the vehicle features and the Aftersales services we have available.   • Provides accurate information at all times for all customers including timely and accurate communications leading up to their vehicle delivery
  • Ensure every vehicle is prepared correctly for each customer on their vehicle collection day including pre-populating in-car systems, quality checks, handover blueprint etc
  • Provide a tailored handover experience for each customer, ensuring customers have had a full introduction to all specifications available within their vehicle
  • Help the dealership achieve industry-leading standards and utilise feedback efficiently
  • Ensure relevant compliance is in accordance with company and industry policies and guidelines.

The ideal candidate we are looking for is highly organised and enjoys working in a busy, fast paced environment. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, confident and enthusiastic. Naturally interacts with customers and colleagues in a professional manner, adhering to standards and creating a friendly environment. Being a strong team player is absolutely essential in this role as you will be required to move seamlessly between the requirements of different departments. 
Experience in the industry or a similar role is not essential but would be an advantage. We are looking for someone who is IT literate with the ability to move between multiple and bespoke systems competently. For this role you MUST hold a full valid UK driving license for a minimum of 6 months for insurance purposes.
