Jaguar Landrover Bishop Stortford 

Contract Type: Casual, Ongoing role

Salary: £11.44 per hour

JLR of Bishop Stortford is recruiting for a casual driver to join their busy, dynamic Service team. As a casual driver, you may be required to collect and deliver both cars and parts to retail and corporate customers, working hard to consistently exceed customer expectations and ensure that we provide an exceptional level of service to all our customers!

Service Drivers at Lookers play a vital role in supporting our whole Aftersales department, by prioritising their time and workload efficiently, and they also help to maintain our vehicles ensuring they are clean and in a roadworthy condition, both inside and out. You will drive safely and in accordance with current road and traffic legislation and you will notify your line manager of any defects, damage, or incidents that occur on the road.

  • Deliver both cars and parts to retail and corporate customers
  • Visiting our other Lookers dealerships in the area
  • Ensuring our vehicles are kept in a clean and roadworthy condition
  • Drive in accordance with current road and traffic legislation to represent our business
  • Consistently providing an exceptional level of service to all of our customers
  • Always maintain highest levels of professionalism 

For insurance purposes we require all candidates to have held their full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years as you will be driving some high roofed/ long wheelbase vehicles. You will also be reliable, have excellent communication skills, be flexible and approach your role with a positive and professional attitude. 

Having experience working in a similar role would be advantageous, along with a real passion for providing a great customer service experience.
