Volkswagen Newcastle 

Salary: basic £35,000 + 

 

An extremely rare vacancy has arisen within our VW Newcastle site on Scotswood Road.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or an aspiring Showroom Manager to become an integral team member of our operations.
You will be responsible for the daily management of our Sales Executives and will report directly to the Sales Management team, responsible for both new and used. This team is dynamic and works at a fast pace, focusing on achieving and consistently exceeding customer expectations in an extremely busy and competitive environment. You will also help to support your team and will gain the experience and knowledge required to take your Automotive career to the next level.

 

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the showroom ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Deliver budgeted gross profit within the dealership 
  • Lead a team of sales executives providing guidance, training and support to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures 
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, motivation and professional growth among the sales team.
  • You will also maintain high customer satisfaction levels through the understanding and adherence to customer satisfaction indicators within your dealership.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyse data and present performance metrics to the management team.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable, committed, and a motivated individual who will embrace the challenge of working within our division.

You will have exceptional organisational and time management abilities and proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

Previous experience in a similar position with brand training within the motor trade would be preferred but we also welcome candidates with previous experience within the Financial Services sector. You will hold a full UK driving license as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
