Overview

Colchester Ford

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Salaryup to £50,000 OTE including £25,000 basic plus uncapped commission 

Working hours: (44 hours) rota basis between Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00 with one late night to 18:30, Saturday 09:00 to 17:00 and Sunday 11:00 to 16:00 (one day off midweek and alternate Sundays)

Previous automotive experience is desirable, but not essential for this role, as all we ask is that you're willing to get stuck in and learn the products inside and out. Full support and training will be provided, with access to Lookers sales process training from Day 1 of your journey with us.  At Colchester Ford, we have Sales Advisors specialising in New or Used car sales, ensuring that they comply with our FCA regulated sales process. You will be the key point of contact for our customers, communicating via email, phone and in person. Attention to detail and flawless administration skills will help you succeed in closing the deal. You may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious vehicles on the market, therefore a full UK driving licence is a must. 

 

Responsibilities / Key Skills

  • Communicating effectively through all channels with all customers to ensure our high customer service levels are maintained
  • Listening to our customers wants and needs in their vehicle, and suggesting suitable vehicles 
  • Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
  • Negotiating the final price for the sale
  • Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
  • Follow up with customers after each sale to ensure satisfaction with the process
  • Maintaining all of our minimum standards to ensure you consistently hit your KPIs
