Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: OTE up to £80,000 per annum (including basic of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience)

Lookers Ford Transit Centre Sheffield is recruiting for a talented and motivational leader to join our successful team as a Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager. Our Sales Managers are the real driving force behind our successful teams, continuously working to develop and coach our CV Sales Executives in order for them to achieve their targets.

We need someone who is commercially savvy and can inspire our team of CV Sales Executives by leading by example, and by living and breathing the Lookers’ values. Steven Thompson (Divisional Commercial Sales Manager) is looking for someone who has the right coaching and people skills and can contribute to our continuous success at the Transit Centre.

So, do you have demonstrable experience in leading and inspiring a team to deliver on service expectations and sales objectives? Then we might have just the job for you!

Responsibilities

  • Managing the mix and specification of new products based on sales trends, local markets intelligence, and the allocation / production constraints
  • Effectively managing the supply of vehicles to achieve the brand and centre objectives
  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction levels through the understanding and adherence to customer satisfaction indicators within your centre
  • Anticipating and predicting market trends, while having the capability to act proactively as well as responsively
  • Maximising commercial opportunities through developing and implementing effective and consistent events and campaigns
  • Coaching and Developing your team members, and understanding their strengths and weaknesses to ensure consistently high levels of productivity

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous Motor Trade experience and will be able to demonstrate substantial product knowledge. You must be able to prove your established management and coaching style, and explain how this would benefit our current Sales team at Sheffield Transit Centre. You'll be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn.

It would be advantageous to have a solid comprehension of all financial aspects within a dealership environment, including monthly / yearly budgets. Experience with a computerised stock management system and knowledge of Kerridge / ADP is preferred. Due to the nature of the role, you must have a full valid UK driving licence.
